What we collect
Your account details (name, e-mail, phone, company, city), your campaign, template, list and automation settings, your notification and sending preferences, and aggregate delivery statistics. We never store the content of your WhatsApp conversations.
How WhatsApp data is used
Marketa reads contacts and sends messages through your own linked WhatsApp session, on your PC. Contacts you extract are stored to build broadcast lists and are never shared with other businesses.
Payments
Mobile Money payments are processed by MTN and Orange. We store the payment reference, amount, provider and the number you paid from, never your PIN. Numbers you choose to save for billing can be removed at any time from Settings → Billing.
E-mails
We send account e-mails (verification codes, password resets), the alerts you enable in Settings → Notifications, and product news you can opt out of. Do-not-disturb hours hold non-critical alerts.
Retention and deletion
You can export everything the account owns as a JSON file, or delete the whole workspace (campaigns, contacts, lists, templates, rules, agents) from Settings → Security. Account deletion requests are handled within 30 days.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct or delete your data from the app, or by writing to support@marketa.cm.
